Wintner's Movie Reviews I'm a huge movie fan. I go to the movies 2-3 times a week. So before you go out and drop $12 on a bad movie, read my reviews and I'll tell you what's up. Just do the world a favor and turn your cell phone off during the movie. As a matter of fact, during the trailers as well.
THE A-TEAM The D- Team is what I give it. A mess of a movie that starts off ok, then loses all the momentum. With a crapy story and silly action, this movie only deserves 1 star.
SPLICE Go get a slice of Splice. An instant cult classic. It was much better than I thought it was going to be. Very worth your time if you like sci-fi.
GET HIM TO THE GREEK Go Greek! This movie was awesome! I enjoyed this as much as The Hangover. It was perfect. Much better than I expected.
SHREK FOREVER AFTER Awesome fun! I liked this as much as all the other Shrek movies and even more than the 2nd one. I highly recommend it and once again, no need to pay the extra for 3D.
SEX AND THE CITY 2 Sex the first time is always better. The movie was completely cheesy. Nothing but talk about menopause for two and a half hours, along with what seemed to be commercial tie-ins for traveling to the Middle East.
ROBIN HOOD Sorry to say, thumbs down. It was long and boring with a been there, done that feel. Russell Crowe copied his Gladiator performance, the best he could. The action scenes dragged on and on. But let's be honest, did anyone think this was going to be a great movie?
IRON MAN 2 Hot, but not red hot!! The movie starts off slow, with what I found to be RDJ doing an impression of himself from the first film, but a bit over the top. But don't let that discourage you. While it was definitely a fun film, it's not as epic as the first. This could be heading down the Spider-Man path.
